Need help finding parts for OM617

This is my first time posting here.
I hope this is the way to go about it.
I'm looking for the exhaust clamps, flex pipe and down pipe for an '83 OM617.
Where would be the best place to find these?
Thank you!

Clamps and down pipe should be new. Less than $50 bux shipped. Not sure of the pricing of the flex pipe, but if it's used, it's probably rough ...

If you can't find what you need, a muffler shop could fab something up pretty simply.

Pretty sure pelican would have those- you may try the search button at the top of the screen

Hey Charles!

You're gonna find so much helpful information via this forum that it'll make your head spin. Good luck on getting the Landcruiser in tip top shape. By the time you're done browsing this forum, Brett will have a new mechanic for both of his Mercedes. 😉

The flex pipes in CA cars still appear fine, and might be stainless steel. My down-pipes show no rust. I have one off my 1985 CA car (won't fit yours) and it has no internal corrosion either. You might get just the parts down to the bottom front flange (get mating flange too), then any muffler shop should be able to do the rest. That would keep shipping costs low. For factory parts, I know P-P does/did carry the muffler-pipe-resonantor. One way to get junkyard parts is Row52 | Find recycled automotive parts from self service auto recycling yards!, find a car in a yard and put in a request to independent pullers. But be clear exactly which parts you want, year, etc. (and not 1985 CA). But be professional and don't hem & haw, spin people up then change your mind.

I don't think the turbo down pipe is available new. I am pretty sure the N/A is. Best to get these parts used.
