2005 E320 CDI Trans Filter Change

Hi, the tech article is helpful but does not elaborate on installation of the six pan bolts. Dealer provided new ones because the old ones are not recommended to be reused. What is the torque?

I bought the transmission dipstick tool from Peach; not certain I understand what the correct level will be. The graduations appear to be in cm. Does anyone know what the correct oil level indication will be using this tool?

The one that most people use has two ranges: 25C and 80C. As I am able to get an exact reading of the fluid temp, I am easily able to interpolate between the two ranges (the graph of temp vs. level is pretty linear). But some don't have that capability...and it's very difficult to be certain the the fluid is at 80C (the temp drops pretty quickly). So for some it's easier to get a 25C reading.

Can you post a pic of what you're looking at?
