Another NJ diesel meet?

Now that some warmer weather is here, how about we get together again. Hopefully Rick Jordan can make it this time. Have any dates in mind?

Just Stay From Memorial Day Weekend

Other than that, basically anytime is fine, preferably an AM session.

I was able to make the first one, but unfortunetely missed the last one, but would really like to make this next one. Most weekends are good for me, but sundays are much prefered. Thanks to whoever decides to set this up.

How about Far Hills Fairgrounds?

1 mile off of the intersection of Hwys. 287 & 78. It's my backyard, so I'll provide foods and drinks, since I'd be driving about 100 yards. Beautiful spot. Lots of room. Accesible and easy to find. BUT, no place to race.

And it's closer to Boston (by about 15 miles) than Round Lake.

I'll try to make this one, and TXBill, its no fair citing driving habits from that part of the country! You guys are used to driving long distances (for us Northeasterners) just to see your neighbor!

So, you NJ area guys... you don't do like the DC guys and arrive at the same place , wander around not figuring out who is who, eat no food and then leave, do you ? LOL... Greg

TXBill and Greg,

Maybe some guidelines on how to have a good time meeting people you already kind of know with some pretty strong common interests along with the sticky is needed. Sounds like there is a pretty severe barrier that grows around people when they live so closely packed together! I guess I was not paying attention to the DC event and had not read about the results. I couldn't help but follow the one you guys arranged, there was some serious anticipation developing and it sounds like it was a success. Have to go back to the threads on the DC event to see what happened.

Well, looking forward to a good get together soon. Jim

Allright, I'll squeeze in sometime in summer!
Can't wait to take the diesel for a long trip! I always love that car on the highways...

I guess we should try to schedule a date.
Knowing in advance may spur me to get my AC fixed
I had to cancel plans for the last meet because of a snow squall
