Can you buy new steering wheel leather?

My steering wheel leather has a large divot in it from something hitting into it. I think realistically it's a hole, not a divot, about 1/4 inch around. Is there any way to fix that, or replace it with a new leather cover?

You can get it reskinned at CraftCustoms. They do impeccable work. Worth every penny IMO.

I have the exact wheel skin that the guy in the second or third post has pictured. It's uninstalled and never used.

You thread it on your self, don't worry there are Direction's and it's easy.

PM ME IF YOU WANT IT.

Other than that, buy a new steering wheel from eBay, Craigslist, or junk yard for $40-$50

Thanks for the offer of buying your wheel skin but I've never liked those. At least the ones that I've seen, they make the steering wheel too big of a diameter to grip the wheel. I'll look around and maybe change my mind and contact you later.

Thanks,
jeff

I'll second the vote for a Wheelskin, I've put them on three cars and love them. Yes, they do add another layer of leather so the wheel is just a bit thicker, but I don't have any issue with that at all. Dressing up an old wheel is too easy with a wheelskin leather.

wheelskin is a nice cover, its easy to do too. However if you are a glutton for punishment like me you can buy a piece of leather, some thread n needle and get to work on it.

you will need to remove the old skin/leather and then use it as a template and cut a new piece of leather and wrap and stich it on. Takes longer but is rewarding in the end, Good for cars that have supremely cheap feeling faux leather on the wheel.
