 With Summer winding down, many enthusiasts are already starting to plan their next projects for the Fall and the one 'tool' that's a must for every garage is a solid set of jack-stands. Some pictures show one adjustment hole in the base and some show two. Which is it?
I presume that the purpose of the second hole is to increase the number of height adjustment options. One hole would only allow about 2 inch increments, which is a pretty big interval for a jack stand.

And the adjustment interval would be cut in half.

the ones I got from here have one hole in the base.
