Thanks for sharing

Thank you for posting this. I went and had a good time. I parked next to the blue 300TD with 510k miles. Fun stuff.

Never seen so many 2.3-16 190e or 500e in one place.

A lot of nice diesels too.

I went also. I did not stay long as I had a golf game in the afternoon. I should have taken my 190D 5 speed. That would impress the w201 folks with the puny engine. I took the 300D W124 which is a dime a dozen, no diesel though. A lot of nice W123.

A pair of 85's

There was a pair of '85 W123's. The all black coupe was bought new by an elderly couple (had a nice chat with them), and has 200K+ on it. The Orient Red sedan is owned by a gentleman that bought it many years ago in New Jersey. He has lovingly maintained it throughout the years he has had it. It too has 200K+ miles on it.

More photos

When I got there, the parking lot was nearly empty. When I left, there was not one empty space that I could see.

This is only half of the lot. The other side probably had as many cars or more. I imagine that there was easily 300 cars, all Mercedes-Benz of course.

Interesting W126

Not that I would ever want something like this, but it is pretty cool:

Oh yeah, the burgundy 300D with the historical plates was a beauty.

Hah, I can see my SD a couple of rows behind the Cosworths.

I really wanted to be there, but I did see these beauties in Frankfurt. Wood on the dash under the windshield? How did anyone think that would work?

This was at the Brabus Classic booth.
