How easy it is to replace OM603 with OM606?
I am toying with the idea about replacing the OM603 ( broken crank ) with a OM606 turbo in a 1987 300SDL. I know it is bolt on and it has been done before. My DIY skill is 7 on a scale of 10, never replace an engine before. So what you guys think? What are the pit falls? Do I need to fabricate any parts?

You can use the 603 IP to avoid needing the throttle by wire electronics but you'll lose some HP. You'll have figure out how to fit the intercooler and plumbing or route the turbo output directly to the intake manifold. The second bit is about the extent of fabrication.
