My reverse sleeper almost got a ticket.
A few weeks ago I almost got my first ticket riding in one of the 85 300d models ,its what I call a reverse sleeper ,old enough to be considered a slow lane sitter .Well,as it maybe ,its all a good disguise ,she rides well at 85 mph and zips up to speed when I ask the old girl upon command .On this one trip I was being tailed for a time and decided to speed up before getting over, a waiting stealthy motorcycle cop clocked me right at the right time for his radar gun .I instantly got the lights and could feel encouragment to tell the tale of how fast it was able to reach up too once clocked .I first asked the speed and kind of looked amazed that she was able to get that high at 87 mph ,once he made the comment I took full fault but also gave excuse of the merging part for faster cars,he took my licenese and came back with a warning .So all you reverse sleepers out their ,wear those seatbelts you might get a warning .

Not sure here, but I'd think a "reverse sleeper" would be a car that you'd fully expect to go fast that doesn't. For example: a Corvette Z06 that loses a drag race to a stock 240D auto.

Slumberer might qualify then ,sleeper awakes on call ,slumberer awakes then turns on side to fall asleep once more.
