Talking My Car

I am finally able to post a few pics of my car. I wish that I had taken a pic before I started working on it. It is a 1980 300D, I bought it about 3 weeks ago from an old guy in Weatherford for $1500. It has 310K miles on it, but ran real strong. I have since done quite a bit. Mostly with help from you guys ! I had it painted, and I have been working on it almost every day. The only thing that doesn’t work great now, is the AC. The interior is not bad, and I got a sheepskin seat cover from SAM’s for $30 I LOVE this car ! I look for places to go to in it, and I love to get it on the highway. It may be my first MB, but it will not be my last ! See the links below for the pics !

THANKS !!!
The gentlman in Weatherford had no other MBs.
When I got the car, it had sat for about 6 months, and it needed an inspection. I replaced the hood pad, some body trim, and the list goes on & on. As for the Award ! No, I dont know anything about that. What can I do ?

Robert

ps I am planning on going to the Austin shindig.

I like it! All original, right down to that radio.

I wish my hoodpad looked like that.... :p
Mine just comes down like ash if it's touched.

I wonder why they didn't continue with the chrome fresh air grille (the two things on behind the hood in front of the windshield) on the later model W123's.
