Hah! My drv window stopped working on Wed 2 days ago. Went down but not up. Was not all the way down, wouldnt go up but still would go down, till I bottomed it. Got home, popped the hood, opened the door & tried it before getting out, it worked. Yesterday it didnt work at all. At least its up. The other windows all work, they 'click' when switched, drv win switch does not, eventually I will pop console & troubleshoot.

Could be lots of things. First, try a gold fuse or at least sand a silver one. Going up takes more current, which is where high-resistance in the circuit becomes a problem. I just fixed 3 of 4 windows in my 1984 by opening and cleaning all the console switches and the mirror switch (see post). My son never fesses to spilling drinks. One broken wire in the door feed-thru can stop one direction, which happened in my 1985, plus the regulator arm cracked thru once. Of course, the driver's door since it opens the most and my windows must raise and lower three times every morning in going thru security gates.
