CDI Oil Separator Seals: How long before I can conclude I am leak free?
Very basic question...just replaced the seals (o-ring and grommet) on the oil separator of my CDI....original at 168k miles. I'm going to leave the engine cover off for a while to make sure there are no leaks. About how many miles before I can conclude I'm leak free?

Take it on a 1,000 mi. trip, then you will find everything that leaks.
Seriously, I would think an hour drive at operating temp. should tell you if everything is OK.
