Question on Radioator hose

anyone know what these hoses from the upper radiator hose do

The heater along the upper radiator hose doesn't say Lovecraft, I hope.

That is some kind of veggie oil setup.
You can also see the red injector line heater wire some people use.
Hopefully, they had a second tank in the trunk or were at least thinning
the oil with another fuel. Follow the two hoses and see where they go.

Yup, looks like the poor girl has lived a hard life. Usually folks install these aftermarket veggie oil kits, and then sell the car about 20k miles later when it starts to run like crap.
