Offer $4545. but require a test of the efficiencey claim he post in the add.I owned a 2.2 4cyl. 5psd 190 that got into the 40 mpg but still was pushing every trick to get it to that range.I would guess the mileage is over 300k ,(mileage not posted) ,and if it has reciepts for a recently tuned a/c system along with at least some service records, $2500..at its very best.Heat in this area is extreme in the summertime, cooling system has to be top notch.

eh after doing the turbo swap, pump swap to the 8mm M, the AAZ injectors and special nozzles, lots more timing, and an open dump pipe exhaust i get 32-34 if i keep my foot out of it. thats on a 617 so its possible to get better mileage on these old idi diesels, there is however a trade off: a larger turbo may be more efficient at cruise due to less restriction and not running any boost which isnt needed at a steady state cruise but it makes it less friendly to daily due to the power all being up high in the rpm. in my case im getting much better mileage (again only if i treat the skinny pedal like it wants to kill me) however i wouldn't be surprised if my exhaust is a few percent NOX at WOT plus its much louder and higher stress on the engine.

That can be anywhere from 55 to 80. Huge difference in economy between the two.

Nice detail, but what size fuel tank? Or is this not after each fill.

At that point in 2013 and 2014 I still had the 70L tank. Because of the way my fuel discount works I would bring along 2 jerry cans when buying fuel and burn through those as well before the next fill up. That's why some of the tanks go up to 28 gallons. I can fit 1 in each side pocket of the trunk.

Now that I have a 90L fuel tank I don't do that as often.

I was going to do a chart like that for every two fill ups. I thought that would be more accurate. Or I could add all of your fuel purchase numbers divided by the miles as long as all purchases have been included. Seems the dates are a little out of order. No criticism just questions. 90L tank now, that would work for me as I have to go seven miles out of the way for D#2.

Well I remember the trip that was 41.8mpg. that was 55-65mpg going up the 101 from LA to Marin, then 70mph on the way back to LA on the 5.
