240d oil leak front seal

Hi, I just purchased 1975 240d it's been parked for roughly an year. Once I got it running I found large oil leak coming from front of the engine most likely front main seal. I order the seal and sealing ring. Whats the best way to tackle this. I think I need 27mm socket and any tips on removing the crank pulley bolt, you guys help is greatly appreciated.

Stick a large screwdriver or prybar on teeth of the flywheel to stop it from rotating. How do you know it's the front seal and not the vacuum pump

I'm not sure i just saw oil spitting out around the crank pulley and assumed its probable front main seal. It was difficult to tell since am not familiar with this engine and where is the vacuum pump located on this motor? is it right next to crank pulley? i will take some picture of the leak area and share it with you guys.
