w110 column shifter bushing?

hello all! i just purchased this beautiful 1966 mercedes 200d, im working on getting it driving again as well as repairing the floors. my main problem is i cant get it into reverse since the bushing in the column stalk has disintegrated. i cannot find a part or part number anywhere or in any catalogs i have hunted down. ive included a photo for precise location. thanks fellows.

A 66 200D just turned up at the Fresno PNP.

Ideally, you may be able to obtain it (or one similar) as a parts car for your restoration adventure.

Nice 110 body you have there. I had one like that except it had the turn signals on the fenders and a gas engine. As a temporary solution I seem to remember putting a rubber shock absorber donut in mine. Seems like it took some carving to work though, and it was not perfect but did work.

thank you, but this one isnt that bad at all. complete with minor floor rust really is all

In my experience, they usually respond to an email in one to three business days.
If you can get someone on the phone, instantaneous response time of course.
