Shudder under hard acceleration

I've been driving my 1983 300d turbo daily since I bought it back in April of this year. Everything has been working great except this one thing I noticed...

If I accelerate hard from a red light, whenever the gas pedal is pressed more than halfway, it creates a shuddering/vibration feeling like the car is struggling, even though it is still accelerating and driving fine. It's only happening during hard acceleration.

has anybody else experienced this before? were you able to fix it? what was it?

It only happens during accelartion from a stop...if i give it full acceleration while driving at highway speeds it seems ok

A tranny mount, driveshaft, motor mount(?).. something related. Or could be a tranny wearing out internally.

Most likely the driveshaft rubber flex disks.

Sounds like the center support bearing for the driveline. Maybe not the bearing itself, but the carrier for the bearing may be torn.

so many possibilities here.

can you tell where the shuddering is coming from? could be axles, control arms, driveshaft bearing support, etc...

more info needed.
