On New Year's Day, I went to the Sacramento PNP to pull the W115 longrunner intake manifold from a 75 NA 300D that had recently arrived.
I was able to pull it, and 3 hubcaps as well.

I was surprised to see that it had a T4 turbo installed at some prior time in its history.
There was an aftermarket cast iron T4 adapter attached to the standard exhaust manifold (617 142 00 01).
There are no visible markings on the T4 adapter.
It has a pyrometer probe.

Attached to the T4 adapter is an unmarked cast iron T4 turbine housing with an unmarked cast iron block-off plate secured with a V-band clamp.

I also pulled the exhaust manifold, the T4 adapter, the T4 tubine housing with block-off plate, and downpipe exhaust flange.

I imagine someone on the forum may need some of these parts.

I don't know the W115 engines. It looks like the 6-bolt flange on the exhaust manifold is factory and perhaps normally bolts to an exhaust down-pipe. The turbo adapter looks like a volume part since it surely wasn't cast in someone's backyard. Neat that it angles the turbo, so must have been carefully thought out, so fits better than when people shoe-horn an OM617.952 turbo engine in. Perhaps a factory turbo option or after-market option for special vehicles like police. Certainly valuable since once one has the T4 flange, many turbos can fit and the rest of the plumbing is relatively straight-forward.

THAT is a great find - some days you get lucky! Whoever gets this - I use Tim's Turbos in Falls Church, VA and he can hook you up with the rest of whatever it takes to make that a useful turbo.
