2005 E320 CDI FUEL HOSE

Hi all, Happy New Year!!

My 2005 E320 CDI developed a fuel leak. I was able to go to the local auto parts store and buy a foot of 5/16 braided rubber fuel hose and make the repair.

The original hose has a 90 degree bend in it and I would really like to replace it with the same exact hose instead of using the 5/16 straight hose that I purchased.

I looked on Pelican parts and it doesn't appear to be available. It comes from the top of the fuel filter and goes to a steel pipe that runs down that side of the engine and another steel pipe comes back up right next to it.

When I used to own a 300 SDL there was a fuel pre-heater on that side of the engine and if I had to guess, I would say that this hose feeds the pre-heater on my CDI.

If anyone has information of an exploded view of the fuel filter and its associated hoses I would be greatly appreciative!

Thank you all in advance!

You can get exact hose from dealer. One source would be mboemparts.com. They have the exploded parts diagram on their site.

This very much looks like the hose but I cannot confirm that it is the correct one

Just call a dealer parts department...they can confirm for you the actual part number you need.
