Bio fuel is vague because we have bio diesel and Ethenol for gassers, so I don't think so.
If there is a bio diesel car, then yes it can take regular diesel. Same for a pure Ethenol car, however an engine set up to run pure Ethenol switchs to gasoline, it will run richer than normal because ethanol isn't as energy dense as gasoline. So you need more of it to get the same power. When it comes to bio diesel I know nothing about it.

If by Biofuel you mean the flex fuel cars, then no, they are meant to run on ethanol and ethanol blends, not diesel

Please elaborate, which biofuel, which car, which engine system?
Like many things, the answer is "it depends."

Bio diesel and veggie oil are two different things. Bio diesel being an industrial highly refined commercial product and veggie oil being well, as raw and unrefined as it gets.
The poster of the add doesn't know what he's talking about if he said it's converted to take bio diesel. There's no need to modify a diesel in anyway shape or form to take bio diesel. His misinformation is bio diesel = veggie oil. You can ran straight diesel in it too, you'll just have a larger fuel capacity. Personally i'd take it off because it's an eye sore, but I'd keep it for the apocalypse or if fuel prices ever skyrocket again.

I wouldn't give over 6 or $700 if that for that car unless it drove really will. Paint, suspension, interior, brakes one most other systems will need work before it begins to be reliable and comfortable.

Don't fall for the "cheap Honda" routine either. If you do, you'll likely wind up with a Civic from '96-'04 which have HORRIBLE automatic transmissions. If you go for one from that era, go for a 5-speed, the slushboxes are absolute garbage with an extreme failure rate. If you want something dead reliable, find something Japanese with a 5-speed and learn to drive it. You'll get good economy, good reliability, and a decent ride. When you're done with it, you can probably sell it on for what you paid for it.

Yes, the car should be able to operate on diesel... a properly converted veg oil car should be started on diesel fuel, until coolant warms to operating temp, and only switched over after that point... and shut down after switching back to diesel fuel ... Since no engine pics are listed, bet the “conversion” consists of a heater and a diesel tank... expect the main tank to be gummed up...

Ad says the car has a veggie oil system. Yeah, it'll burn diesel just fine. I'd turn off the heater to the diesel tank and lines and such.
(Rest of this post is opinion, YMMV, this is not legal advice, please consult with your personal physician before engaging in _______ activity, worth what you paid for it, etc.) Veggie oil systems are kinda like a tattoo or facial piercings on a pretty girl - not an upgrade under any circumstances. A perfect implementation of either being "not a huge downgrade" and very easily going to "what a flaming disaster, wtf did you do to your car(body)?" That said, in Texas, someone may get away with an imperfect implementation of a veggie oil system without immediate disaster, and at the miles on that car you should expect to be doing injectors and most of the other stuff that would be fubar'd by a bad veggie oil system anyway. I would definitely pay less for a car with a veggie oil system than one without one. Again, it is not an upgrade.
