W210 E300 interior door pull handle
 

Hi guys, today the drivers side inside door handle mechanism broke on my 1999 E300. I took the door panel off to access the faulted device and it appears that whatever holds the pivoting metal part in place as it goes through the interior door pull/handle is no longer there, if I had to guess it probably was a small e-clip. Has anyone been able to find this assembly online? I searched Pelican parts and it doesn't appear to be offered. I temporarily took a plastic wedge used for tile placement and drilled a hole slightly smaller and was able to force it onto where the missing clip would normally go and further secured it on with super glue and it is working but I doubt that it will last very long..... Any advice on where I may obtain a new one would be greatly appreciated....
