86 to 87 W126 changes?
A friend traded in the nice little 240D I sold her and bought a 87 420 SEL,
 Can anyone tell me "would the owner's manual for a 86 be about the same? As is the similarity between a 1982 240D and a 83 for example. Maybe not engine stuff as I know this is a diesel forum, unless of course anyone over here knows, but the cabin and body things. Thanks

86/87 should be pretty much the same from an owners manuals and mechanical perspective. You may see some slightly different part numbers here and there on some things like relays that were superseded.

Thanks for the reply. We have only been able to find an 86 owners manual on E bay so I guess we'll go with that.
