Brake booster line

Does anybody knows if the brake booster line from a 83 240D will interchange with the one from a 87 190D ?

Not definitive but leaning towards no.

Don't forget to grease the screw and threads on the spring compressor.

Why do you think it won’t fit ? I know for a fact that it will fit the bake booster side I’m not sure about the vacuum side

If the threaded parts fit on both ends and it'll reach I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'd expect the 240D's hose to be a different length, how much of a difference, who knows.

Doe the 240D line have the engine stop takeoff?

What's the problem with your original line?

The 240D line should have an engine stop port. Also ports for central locking, ACC and anything else. 616/7 vacuum pumps only have one fitting for the brake booster line.

The 190D would only have the engine stop port. There's a separate vacuum supply on the 60x pump for everything else.

I don’t have the original line. I just need to know how long is the line from a 240D or 300D

Seems like you could measure how long it needs to be on your car, even after throwing the old line away. Then, just ask someone to measure on the source car. Note that you didn't tell us which one is the car you need to fix. You also need to give precise instructions, like measure from exactly where to exactly where - say ends of each nut as-installed.
