ATE versus Bosch Quiet Cast rotors and pads.

This is for the 1984 300DT, which brand would you purchase and why?

I have the Bosch QuietCast pads on my SDL and I'm happy with them. If you need some light reading (HA!) go find my recent thread "Talk to me about brake pads" in this forum.

This discussion is similar to an oil discussion. I have used both, the ATE has a nice anti corrosion coating on the rotors. I have recently replaced all 4 on my daughters ml 430, impressed at the value as they were fairly reasonable.

I've had Bendix rotors on this car for a long time. They have proved to be near indestructible yet it is time to change them out. A certain website out there sells them in their "economy" section which makes me a bit nervous. I don't trust anything rated "economy".
