2005 E320 CDI Water Pump Replacement
Is this as straightforward as it appears? About to tackle mine: Car has 179,000 miles and just made a giant coolant puddle in the garage.
What a good car this has been, btw!

I did mine a couple months back, yes it’s straightforward.
Few pointers 1- have the parts, coolant and tools beforehand 2- I replaced the tensioner, thermostat and belt while I was in there 3- When removing the WP, put the bolts in a piece of cardboard so you know which bolts go in what holes, some are different sizes
