you're telling me

only a Benz nut who knows what the diesels are will buy them. most of the cars I've sold were to close friends/family or foreigners who had them in their country and wanted one again because they know what they are.

I bought 4 of these suckers within 6 months of buying my first Benz. I bought my 300D sight unseen to drive while I shopped for my E55. But I always wanted a big body so then I bought a super clean SDL. But, I really wanted a V8 W126, so then I bought a minty 560SEL.

I've put about 50k on the 300D, even sold it to my dad for a year before buying it back to use as my current daily. I drove the SDL while Dad had the 123 until the trans went, then I sold it. I sold the AMG summer before last to help in a tight time while starting a new business. The 560 currently sits next to my friends FJ60 in a warehouse in Virginia.

I also have an LX470 and a BMW R1150R Rockstar. I have everything at my house in the garage except the 560. Everything is tagged and insured except the 560( it's just on a storage policy).

Thanks for not making me feel so bad to have 7 cars at one time, haha.
In all seriousness though, I still want to have the fleet of MB diesels.
115,123,201,124,and a 210, not necessarily all at one time but would like to experience each one and pick out my favorite.
The 190 is still way up there, I find it a sweet spot but the luxury of the 124 is hard to resist also.. maybe I'll stop there.

Who knows.

I do not see any problem Still have my first car 70 Electra 225 conv, Grandads 42 pontiac coupe, 63 & 65 buick rivera's, 84 280SL (running summer car), 78 & 83 300CD's (dd's) 95 pontiac bonneville (winter studs, will be selling) 2 02 E320 4-matics (wives summer/winter dd's) 06 chevy duramax, 79 280CE (parts), 79 300CD (parts) 82 300CD na (next project), 83 300D (parts), 78 & 79 450 SL's (parts) Have found that on the MB's it is cheaper to have a parts car, or two around than buying the parts off of Ebay. Have not paid more than $600 for any of the parts cars. In MT any vehicle over 11 years old qualifies for lifetime registration/plates. Keep insurance (liability) on 6 vehicles, so I am never stranded
