W116 brake booster
 

Own a 1979 300sd and in the market for a new or used brake booster.

My question is how good is a brand new but old stock brake Booster after so many years have gone by since it was manufactured. Are there any seals that wear out due to lack of fluid or is it a good purchase bcause its brand new, never installed. My concern is that the internal parts or components such as those made of rubber have been compromised due to age.

Any advice is greatly appreciated
