Those chrome arches have to go.. I've been checking the car out some more. Both seats function in all modes. AC works. Sunroof works, all windows work. Headlight wipers work (though it needs Euros). Power telescoping wheel works. I'm hoping I can get it titled in New York, since Vermont does not give titles to cars over 15 years old. Hoping luck is on my side.

So I need to get a transferrable registration before I can title it. The guy is not returning my calls, or texts. Anyone want to buy an SDL for parts? This could be an unhappy ending.

No. Vermont doesn't do titles for vehicles over 15 years old. What they do is use the registration as a transferrable proof of ownership. I was given a registration, but it was previous to the transfer. So, I have a bill of sale, a registration from a different car, and some other paperwork that is useless. Should have paid more attention to the paperwork.
