Seat Belt Service
It seems few ever do .
Sweat and grime make seat belts still, that's why they don't go zzzip reeling up when you unbuckle them . This of course leads to them getting caught in the door jambs and breaking the plastic buckles . I always remove the seat belts and gently and carefully wash and dry them to try and avoid this breakage . Once in a while I'll just undo the floor end, unreel the belt and pinch it with two clothes pins where it comes out and use a plastic bucket on the seat to wash them . Seat belts are supposed to be very flexible and floppy, like a silk tie .
