Probably Mercedes-Benz ones. I used aftermarket ones a while back and they didn't last more than a year or so. Put Benz ones on 3 years ago now and they are still perfect

The ones Pelican sells are probably priced accordingly, Lemforders being the better ones

Anyone know if the 300D Lemforders fit the 240D? Different part numbers. Options appear limited for 240 owners -Uro or Mb.

Many posts. If you can find some w/ embossed lettering in the rubber and blue dots, those are supposed to be OEM-type (Phoenix, ... Made in Turkey I understand). Avoid all Made In India brands (DEA, Anchor, ...), even if pricey, since they quickly sag and cause excessive shaking even when new. I recently changed to Lemforder brand (~$45/pr ebay) and it greatly smoothed the idle in my 1984 300D. I was peev'ed they didn't look like the photo (smooth rubber). The box had a stick-on label "Lemforder, Germany" but probably made in China or such. One hopes to their standards at least.

I just received some Lemforders today. Blue box, Made in Turkey. The actual part appears to have had the "star" ground off. I was suspicious due to the price ($41.45/pair delivered) but it looks like mine are genuine Lemforders. Complete with two blue dots and numerous numerals cast in the rubber.

Also worth mentioning, my boxes don't mention "Germany."

Corteco

Lemforder that I have bought in the past look just like Corteco, couple of times still had the emblem on it.

I bought a pair from somewhereinAZ and filled the cavity with roof caulk from Homedepot to prevent them from collapsing too soon. I used a 5/8" sparkplug socket to keep the big bolt hole open. Just grease it well on the outside and seal it with caulk against the bolt bearing area.

I intend on keeping the diesel and oil off this pair.

I appreciate everyone's comments. Did you get these from our sponsor or flea bay?
Thx

Many posts on filling cheap mounts w/ polyurethane. I tried that for many years on my 2 300D's, but decided it doesn't work. If the fill takes the load, it pushes down on the K-frame. In my 1984, it cracked that thin sheet-metal (I posted w/ photos). I made a weld-repair. I went so far as to make thick base-plates to support the poly. When I removed the poly-filled mounts, the poly had conformed to the K-frame below, so must have been supporting it. The new Lemforder mounts (w/o poly fill) made my 1984's engine idle much smoother. It used to feel quirky driving slow in parking lots, like the engine was stumbling, but it was just the effect of the motor mounts.
