W115 seat upgrades ?

I just got a 1975 w115 240d manual. Drives good but drivers seat is a bit tore up. And the back horsehair cushoin of course. Im not i terested in original classic restoration right now. Just some easy replacemnts.

Anyone know if anything else fits these good ? I saw a w116 sd that had leather seats from a 90s mb.

Thanks

Seems to me someone here on the forum replaced their W114 coupe front seats with the 2nd row seats from a 2001 Honda Pilot.

I recommend finding a foam shop and re-stuffing them yourself. Get a few sheets of 1" thick foam. When I did it, there were 3 different stiffnesses and the middle one was most suitable. It's kind of tedious and nasty to do it. May be able to repair the seat but with no pictures it's futile for me to assess it.

If you're looking for something comfy, yet very tasteful, how about these?

Those look excellent, and 10/10 I would use a chivas bag for the shifter boot.

This is an area where you can really increase driving comfort. One way or another. I find the original seats in good condition do not tire me on longer distance runs. But at the same time there is still room for improvement.
