Excessive tire wear

2005 e 320 CDI

My tire guy says the front tires have excessive wear on the inside. The car was aligned when I bought new tires but after a few thousand miles still showing abnormal wear. I don’t have the specs from that aliegnment but I can get it if that would help. The drives side was right on but the psssenger side needs an after market cam bolt to be perfect but was very close. Excessive wear is about the same on both sides. Not sure what to do???

How many miles on the car? I would guess ball joints, but a good front end shop should be able to provide the answer

Broken springs? W211 is notorious for broken springs.

Toe and camber wear tires. How many miles? It may be due for a front end rebuild which would make it steer like new. Alternatively you can find the parts that are the current problem source and then fix the next problem - hence the nickel and dime experience.
