I first thought the stance was a bit odd, looking jacked up on the rear, but after packing the trunk full of stuff for a family vacation, kids in the back seat, and a bike rack with 3 bikes cantilevered off the rear bumper, it makes complete sense.
There is also a certain "get outta my way" aspect to it. Nice example there. There are some plastic bits that wear out in the rear window lifts that allow them to bind. I found a good cleaning and lubrication did wonders if you have a clean example to work from.
