Look what followed me home: a 1990 250D!
188,000 km. Was Opa's car, but granddaughter thinks it's too big for her to drive.

I'm really impressed with the rear seat upholstery. It looks to be in showroom condition. Was that standard at the time, a factory option, or custom?

The car is 100% stock, and was ordered with only 3 options:
Luxury is not necessarily gizmos and technology, but high quality design and materials. The motor is a 2.5L "saugdiesel" (suck-diesel, meaning normally aspirated) No turbo means 93 galloping horsepower! From memory, the engine is more responsive than the W123 turbodiesels I've had (all wagons). |
