OM617 weird idle with video

This is my om617.952 running on a stand and i feel it has a weird idle. Any ideas what could be causing this?

In this video the garden hose was connected to it and I just ran 2 cans of diesel purge through it. At this point it was running on diesel again. Revs nicely and ran good in the car. The only other thing i can add is that i noticed the line going to the alda is missing.

Thanks for your input.

The line going to the ALDA missing shouldn't cause an idle issue, it'll just cause a low power issue. I wonder if just running with the flex plate and no torque converter isn't enough weight so it's having a hard time regulating the idle speed or something. It's certainly weird.

The idle is not going to be the same as it would attached to an automatic transmission or even a standard transmission not to mention the motor mounts and trasmission mounts.
