Hey Mark!!!

THANKS for the care package! I couldn't figure out what the heck showed up in the mail today but there it was, and even for the "M" pump! The one Goren supplied doesn't have the primer pump assembly (not even drilled for it) so I have no clue what it's original application was. Anyhow, once I get the hurricane damage fixed (hidden mold) I'll get 'er installed.

I've been wondering about you Dan. Glad to hear from you! How is Mutt doing this year?

Hey Dan,

Glad it made it ! My apologies for the horrible delays. I’m somewhat embarrassed by it. It took a while to find a 7mm shaft M lift pump and a little bit to find a trusted vendor to sell the correct viton O-rings. However those issues don’t explain away the delays. My bad.

Please keep me posted.

Sorry to hear about Florence getting you. Hope everything cleans up OK and the family is well

It's fully rebuilt with the Mercedes Dealer rebuilt kit and upgraded viton O-ring with upgraded Monark primer pump.

As always it looks NEW! No problem about the delay as the one from Sweden has been doing the job though I expect this one will do it even better.

And Tom - we're doing fine. I ran 2 meets this year (since the ECTA moved to Blytheville, AR) with a best speed of 136.2. The Tracer Racing truck (Dakota w/OM617 power) ran a 140+ at Bonneville so now I have a new goal. I got to meet the owner/racer who is a nice guy. I have more boost available and I'm not afraid to use it!

With any luck. They've been able to run the past 2 years and the mining company is being better about returning salt to the race course so this year we had the best salt in recent memory. This resulted in all the great speeds folks were running (including Vesco's 500 mph. run). You thinking about coming? I'm pretty tied up volunteering but it would be great to see you there and we can get together for dinner, etc.

I would love to come out to Bonneville one of these days. I have a few old dogs here who might want to go too.

I was planning a trip a few years back with my Sleeper Part Duex project but got side tracked however I’m getting re-organized and re-energized so thinking that may be on the August 2019 agenda.

Hoping I get invited back next year. I've worked in the Impound yard for 5 years (not contiguous) and I THINK I did OK this year. The new boss of Impound is (wisely) trying to get some young blood in there and I don't know how many old farts they have room for. Anyhow, if they can use me I'll be there.

If you come, bring money! This is the chance for the local businesses to make a profit and prices of motels, etc. go UP. There's one really nasty motel so you'll want to avoid that one (I can't remember the ever-changing name but it's just east of the Quality Inn). Dining out isn't TOO expensive as the casinos in West Wendover (Nevada side of town), like all casinos, try to keep the players in the building with reasonably priced food. But all in all, it ain't cheap. If you're up for such things there IS camping at The Bend In The Road which is about a mile off the expressway exit. There's also a lot on the east edge of town that they've set up for the racers to camp. Porta Potties at both locations. Camping is NOT my cup of tea!
