Lock cylinders 81 240d

Just got one key with my 81 240d, works in the ignition and trunk but not in the two front doors or glove box... Kinda weird... Will the cylinder from the trunk fit in the door handle???

I was thinking valet key for a minute, but that combination makes no sense for a valet key. I think the lock cylinders are froze up.

What Moon161 said is likely.

You might question the former owner if available.

I bought some used door, trunk and ignition locks on eBay. The Ignition Tumbler and the Trunk Lock are easy to change compared to the Door locks. It could be someone replaced the Ignition Tumbler and Trunk Lock and left the doors alone.

Someone has a thread on taking the lock tumbler apart so they can be re-keyed.

Have you done any spraying of penetrating oil inside of the Door Lock Slots to see if they will loosen up?
You would need to take off the door panels to get at the locking system back sides. Before removing the Door Panels you need to carefully pry out the plastic shield/cup that is covering a single small screw. It is behind where you stick your fingers to pull the lever to open the door.
