Yeah I would like to see them try to put a battery in a W164/W166 or worse an R Class:eek: it is under the passenger seat

Nate, try the Pep Boys Bosch Premium AGM battery. 4 year REPLACEMENT warranty. I've had nothing but good luck with them.

The BOSCH one : Bosch Premium Battery

Part#: 49-850BAGM | SKU: 838838 is only 850 CCA, I like the 900CCA ones I've had , at least the price is good .

In the past I've seen quite a few failed BOSCH brand flooded cell (regular) batteries, lasted maybe 15 months, no thanx .

Ah well, just a suggestion. If you've had problems with them in the past then I can't blame you for distrusting them. I'm the same way with Die-Hard and Auto-Zoo batteries. Some people swear by them but every one I've purchased turned out to be junk. Different strokes for different folks.

Most importantly, you should see a 20 or 25% off coupon somewhere on Advance Auto's web site. Use the coupon and you should get it further down in price.

Use all these techniques and you should be able to get an AGM H8 battery made in Germany for about $130 all in.
