Costco Michelin X-tour tires are 80k mile rated and are T+H rated. They can be used on w124 and 123 vehicles. I hope I can use them o.n my w211 next time I need tires.

Both my W123s, (82 240D, 84 300TD) and my '96 Camry LE 4-cylinder take 195/70R14s. I used to get the Michelin X rebate-package at Sam's, for $300-$350 out the door, including road-hazard.
Then I needed a new set for my Camry last month. The Xs are NLA, and many places want $460 - $550 for equivalent Michelins that usually need to be ordered.
So I got a set of S-rated Douglas at WalMart for $230, + $40 road-hazard, out the door. Their only choice in that size. I don't see the need for H-rated tires on this car as it won't ever see 130 mph unless it rolls out of an aircraft at high altitude!
Don't yet know what I'll get for the Benzes when they need new shoes!

Happy Motoring, Mark

Mark, the "speed ratings" for tires are not just for speed, but also FOR HOW FAST YOUR CAR CAN STOP. You need the right tires for the weight of your car. Tires are nothing to toy around with. Get the right tires for your car. It's not worth having an accident and losing a leg or something.

What, no warning to the other poster here that put T-rated instead of H on their Mercedes?
Everything's relative.
For now it's staying at my Va. Beach home where it will be for occasional use.
With the limited driving I'll be doing with this, they're already a big improvement over the dry-rotted tires that were on the rear, and the 22 year old spare and the tread-separated tire that was on the front.

Happy Motoring, Mark

Yep....I think the T+H rated michelin X-tours are suitable for our w124, w124, w210 and maybe w211.

Ck. w/ Michelin or Costco to confirm.

For me, $365 all in was a great price on the '95 e300 that I plan to drive a lot. These are long lasting touring tires. They are not track tires and that is OK..because really, our diesels are not track cars ;-)
