..I also have a 427 Cobra replica with an aluminum chassis.

Im not sure of the wiring set up on mine but im sure my climate control for temp setting is inop. I have to manually open the valve for the heater core. I will check it today and see how its wired. Is this pump only for the heater or does is serve another purpose.

...Don't know. The heater in my 39 studebaker won't make heat without the pump though. Easiest thing is to run a wire to it from the battery with a switch and a fuse in my case.

I checked it today and it does not come on at all. I will test it for function with a direct connection and see if she runs. Living in Phoenix Az There is not much need for heat even in winter so I guess I will have to make that decision later weather to power it up. Thanks for the help.
