a mixmash of cars... 300D turbo in a 280CE

So, i got myself a 280CE, it has it's issues and i'm slowly sorting them out and making the car my own.


It has
wdb1231331A017946 the engine from here

inside of

wdb1231331A017946 chasis/body

I'm trying to get the tachometer to work

it has pickup on harmonic balancer as well as the pickup cable.

the bracket and socket on the inner fender

NO tachometer Amplifier

2 pin connector on the back of the tachometer.



So far with the car, i've fixed the rear electric windows
Changed from auto to manual transmission
valve adjustments
brakes and all that general maintenance stuff.

So yeah, i'm a bit stuck and tachometers in australia for the w123's as there's just no tach amplifiers in and salvage yards as they all came with the big clock instead.

I found this schematic, but need a hand figuring out a component in it.
