Don't forget to grease the screw and threads on the spring compressor.

Update: Did the delivery valve seals

Good news and bad news.

Bad news: The engine has LOUD injector rattle from idle to 1500, it's even louder than the 300SDL. I ran the SDL baside the E300 to keep the battery charged.

I also have to go to home depot or Lowe's because the hex key fasteners are just worn to hell. 5mm too small 5.5mm too big...junk.

Good news is NO MORE FUEL LEAKS! Thank God, also the banjo bolt was a pain to install, absolute nightmare.

Still have a long way to go.

Tires
Alternator PCV redone or maybe modified
Motor mounts
And vacuum hoses need to be routed correctly.

Still needs all fluids except oil.

Also something shocking happened, upon initial start up I could hear the engine had a miss, a dead miss.

Eventually when it started the car made the most horrendous injector cackling imaginable, so bad I thought my engine was toast or an accessories where about to explode.

Cylinder 2 was puffing white smoke out the intake valves, I revved it hoping it would go away, it didn't. Finally I brake torqued the engine and carbon blew right out of the intake port, after that it ran fine.

I was very close to scrapping it honestly.

Once undone and re-torques they take awhile to settle in, needs a good run to bed them in properly.

btw, what "brake torqued the engine"?

Hold the brakes and press on the accelerator while at a standill.

Has multiple purposes, usually done to build boost before launch, diagnose bad motor mounts or in my case load the engine.

It's very bad for your transmission because it builds up tons of heat quickly.
