OM647 Longevity a Proxy for OM648
There's a thread over on Benzworld seeing what kind of miles people are getting with their 05/06 E320 CDI's. The suggestion has been made that that the OM647 may serve as something of a proxy for how far the OM648 may last. The OM647 is in Sprinters....same engine, one less cylinder. More of them out there that have racked up high miles. Looks like 500-600k is achievable. I'm good with that!

Can’t help a lot as I have just passed 100,000 miles.
I would think that a I-6 would be a smoother engine than the I-5 and should last longer.
