300 SDL master cylinder low after bleeding brakes
After replacing a leaking rear caliper and bleeding the brakes I noticed that the rear part of the reservoir was below the Min level Is this normal? Thanks, Bob

You don't have enough fluid in the reservoir. It's a weird design, brim the reservoir to get fluid back there. You may have to re-bleed the brakes if it got air in there. Keep an eye on the fluid, if it goes down again, you still have a leak.

When you bleed brakes it will discharge some brake fluid on the ground or in a jar. This will make your reservoir lower and if you don't watch out it can be low enough to allow air into the part of the MC which it is supposed to supply.
It is a normal part of bleeding the brakes.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't filling the reservoir full enough to refill the back compartment. Bob
