Compression tester installed in place of injector. |

Does the engine sound like it's pulling against compression or feel like it if you pole it over manually? Maybe your compression tester is junk. |
|
Ive tried 3 testers. Here is a video on my instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxN2IvzAYkg/esters. Just click on Vonbohde. |

No compression on all cylinders. |

You do have the injectors installed? If you do you must have all your valves held open somehow. |

 Glow plugs in place? |
|
I have the injectors out except for the cylinder i am testing. I am testing with glow plug installed. I guess I should do a leak down to see if the valves are leaking. I adjusted them but, perhaps I'm off. I would think I would get some needle movement. This engine is bolted to an ax15 manual transmission. The adaptor plate used a Jeep cherokee starter. It may be spinning over slower with this starter. |

Did you grind the valves when you rebuilt the engine or just lap them? |
|
I had the machine shop re gring the valve seats. I installed new valves and lapped them in with a fine compound. |
