OM616/617 Intake Snorkle

Hi folks,

would anyone be able to tell me the part number for either of these intake tubes?

Would really like to put one on my W115 240D with W123 intake set up.

thanks!

Is it just me or do the holes for the w123 intake hose and horn (front) to be screwed in look to be present?

Are you sure that those parts are actually OE?

Why on earth would you want a HOT air intake? The 123's and 617 powered 126's had the intake snorkel routed so it pulled in cool air from in front of the radiator or front of the hood.

Some of the smaller engine versions available in Europe had the type of in-engine-bay air inlets shown in the pictures above

(Sorry I can no longer supply part numbers as I don't have EPC access any more)

Yes,
completely understand that. Thing is this is not a 123 or 126, tis a 115 and being such the flexible snorkel intake duct has no where to attach.

I'd like the engine compartment to have an OEM look to it and this would be nice instead of just having either nothing coming off the filter housing or some junky home made thing.
