Some W210 Codes

While investigating glow system on 98, pulled some codes.

P1630 Drive authorization signal

P1482 Glow output stage N14/2

I swapped out the relay just because I had one. It looks like the glow code is generic. I would have thought I'd get P1481 with just a bad plug.

Is this on the turned / reflashed up computer? They might have shut off the anti theft.

Supposedly this is excessive glow plug current, would need a complete factory description to be sure.

If you have one of the cloned star computers then you have the complete fault code guides under WIS. The HHT emulator as used on the W210 isn’t as polished as the later Xentry implementations for the later cars, where clicking on the fault code takes you directly to the relevant WIS section for dealing with that problem, but you can still go to the WIS under that system for a description of the fault codes.
