See if.....
See if you can find a GOOD mobile mechanic. I have one who has saved me a lot of money over the years. The person you're looking for does NOT come to your house with a little tool bag in the trunk of his car, and he is not 24 years old. Instead, he comes with a van full of tools and is 35 years or older.
Though my guy doesn't know everything about Mercedes since he's a generalist, he can figure a lot of stuff out and when he doesn't know something he tells you so. He knows his limits of what he can and can't fix. Good luck. |

Not really sure how you're going to get that done on a student budget. All only require basic hand tools except for brakes you don't need a jack. I learned to wrench while in school because I was driving a British car that need something weekly and was not ragged out. You are driving German and fighting neglect.
All of those are routine and a regular shop could do them but it would be much less expensive and you'll have a better outcome if you do them. Do you have tools and have you used them?

Just about everything you need to know is right here. Just pick something on the car.and fix it. One thing at a time . Before you know it, you will be the mechanic.

Enroll in a local adult education auto shop class. Learn a lot using the school’s shop, equipment and knowledgeable teacher plus other students who will probably offer to help while learning.
