W115 240d (non- AC): LEFT and RIGHT Engine mounts?
Tried to source motor mounts for my W115 240D 4 Speed manual without aircon in the UK. Dealer has the following part number in stock A1152410713.
Does the vehicle have a left and right mount and a transmission mount like the W123? Anyone know if the dealer suggested part number will fit left and right side mounts? Cheers!

IIRC they interchange, i.e., not side specific. Yes there are two motor mounts and a separate transmission mount. Part # I don't know.

No fitment difference between left or right. BIG difference in quality. The "Anchor" or "Phoenix" ones are utter garbage.
For longevity I fill them with polyurethane. If you do fill with polyurethane don't go higher than a Shore 40 hardness and a rating of 30 is preferred.

Cheers - ordering them from the dealer so they will likely be Meyle or Lemforder. Still thrown off by the part number difference:
A1152410713 is what the dealer has but A1152410813 is what is referenced to my chassis number.

Originally there might have been a difference (heat shield included, Shore hardness, etc.) but the mounts are the same. Their catalogs were probably never updated.
Ordering from the dealer is not a guarantee regarding Country Of Origin. Both Meyle and Lemforder have outsourced many of their rubber parts for years. The "Anchor" brand is made in India and the "Phoenix" label is from Turkey. My memory regarding the "Phoenix" brand must be faulty or they have improved their product. https://www.benzworld.org/forums/w123-e-ce-d-cd-td/1822073-lemforder-vs-phoenix-engine-mounts.html

Phoenix(MEGI) is now part of Continental and were(might still be ) OEM for decades. Can be found in other brands' packaging. Now sufe of production plants, the ones bought from the dealer years ago were Germany.
https://www.meinert-hamburg.de/en/Vibration_technology/MEGI.php P.S. Concerning left/right - the ones for Fintails for example are visually identical(and go with different part numbers). There must be a difference in the characteristics. Some other catalogs(aftermarket) list only one number as "left and right"(probably the more robust one). https://www.meinert-hamburg.de/en/Vibration_technology/MEGI/MEGI-Bearings.php Ok you need to double check but it seems the numbers are A1152410713 for the right and A6152230112 for the left one .
