The V8 engine is a tight fit as is, the inline 5 even tighter. Inline 6, I don't think it would be worth it.

This was discussed years ago, look at the inline 5s lack of room.


Thinking of picking up an ML.. can a om606 fit it?Plus the hood is just plain short on the ML's.

Twin side radiators to allow room for the engine to go further forward. There's always a solution! Even if its not a good one!
