FWIW.......

If there's a car yard nearby with a W123 you might try pulling the pods. That's what I've been doing with W124 pods.

Or if someone on Craigslist is parting out a W123, cut a deal with the owner and go remove them. The owner will have no idea what you're after and I can usually get all 6 pods for $40-$50.

I realize they're used pods, but so far I haven't had a used one fail.....fingers crossed....

I have also heard good things about George Murphys repair work.
